These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases, bookings, products, and services offered through totteannashanklin.com (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Totteanna Shanklin”).

By purchasing a product, submitting hair for processing, or booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

2. Products & Services

All wigs, extensions, custom-colored hair, and related services offered through totteannashanklin.com are custom-made, customized, or processed to order.

We make every effort to accurately represent our products, including color, tone, length, texture, and appearance. However, slight variations may occur due to:

• Photography and lighting

• Monitor and device settings

• Natural variations in hair

• Differences between hair batches

• The condition and starting color of hair submitted by a client

Color results may vary depending on the starting level, porosity, previous chemical processing, and overall condition of the hair.

By purchasing or submitting hair for processing, you acknowledge that exact color replication cannot always be guaranteed.

3. Wig Construction & Custom Wigs

Wigs are constructed and customized according to the specifications selected at the time of purchase.

Customization may include:

• Hair length

• Number of bundles

• Closure selection

• Color

• Parting

• Cutting

• Styling

• Other available customization options

Once an order has entered production, changes to the order may not be possible.

Because wigs are custom-made, all custom wig sales are final except in cases where the product is determined to be materially different from what was ordered or advertised.

 

4. Extensions

Extensions may be purchased in their natural state or customized through a color service.

Clients may:

1. Purchase extensions directly through totteannashanklin.com, or

2. Provide their own extensions for coloring or other approved services.

When purchasing extensions from Totteanna Shanklin, clients are responsible for selecting the correct length, quantity, texture, and color option before completing their order.

Additional bundles may be purchased based on availability.

5. Client-Supplied Hair

Clients who provide their own extensions or hair for coloring acknowledge that the final result depends on the condition and quality of the hair provided.

Before processing client-supplied hair, a swatch test may be required to determine how the hair responds to the proposed color process.

A swatch test may be waived when hair is purchased directly through totteannashanklin.com or, at our discretion, when the hair comes from a reputable and verifiable hair supplier.

We reserve the right to decline to process hair that appears:

• Severely damaged

• Previously over-processed

• Chemically compromised

• Unable to safely withstand the requested service

• Inconsistent with the requested color outcome

If we determine that the hair cannot safely or appropriately undergo the requested process, the service may be declined.

Totteanna Shanklin is not responsible for damage, shedding, tangling, breakage, or other changes resulting from the condition or previous processing history of client-supplied hair.

 

6. Color Services

Color services are customized based on the selected color process and the starting level of the hair.

Color pricing is based on the number of bundles and processing level selected at checkout.

Color services may include lifting, toning, depositing color, highlighting, lowlighting, or other techniques necessary to achieve the requested result.

Color results are not guaranteed to exactly match a photograph, reference image, or previously completed color.

Reference images are used as inspiration and are subject to the limitations of the starting hair.

If a requested color requires additional processing beyond the purchased service, additional charges may apply.

7. Color Matching & Color Expectations

We encourage clients to review all available color options carefully before purchasing.

When selecting a color from the website, clients understand that digital images may not display color exactly as it appears in person.

For custom color requests, clients may be asked to provide reference images or additional information regarding their desired result.

A reference image does not guarantee an exact replication.

Our goal is to create a finished color that is as close as reasonably possible to the selected inspiration while taking into account the starting canvas and integrity of the hair.

 

8. Processing & Shipping

Standard processing for wigs purchased through totteannashanklin.com is 14 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

The day an order is placed does not count toward the 14-business-day processing period. Processing begins on the following business day.

Processing time refers to the time required to prepare and complete the order. It does not include shipping time.

Once an order ships, tracking information will be provided by email.

Shipping times may vary based on the destination, shipping carrier, weather, and other circumstances outside of our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier after the order has been shipped.

9. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because many products are custom-made or processed specifically for each client, orders may not be changed or canceled once production or processing has begun.

If you need to make a change to an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated after an order has been placed.

Once an order has entered production, the order cannot be canceled for a refund.

 

10. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our products, custom wigs, custom-colored extensions, and processed hair are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

If an item is significantly different from what was ordered or advertised, please contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed.

If the product matches the selected specifications but does not meet a client's personal preference regarding color, tone, length, density, style, or appearance, a refund or exchange will not be provided.

11. Hair Integrity & Care

Hair is a natural material and requires proper maintenance to preserve its appearance and longevity.

The lifespan of extensions and wigs varies depending on:

• Frequency of use

• Heat styling

• Products used

• Sleeping habits

• Washing frequency

• Maintenance

• Environmental exposure

• The condition of the hair before purchase or processing

Proper care instructions may be provided with qualifying purchases.

Failure to properly maintain the hair does not qualify as a manufacturing defect and does not make the product eligible for a refund or exchange.

12. Payments

All payments must be completed at checkout unless otherwise stated.

We accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods made available through the website.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Prices are subject to change without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been completed and paid for.

13. Product Availability

All products and customization options are subject to availability.

If a selected hair type, length, color, or other component becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the client regarding available options.

If an appropriate alternative cannot be provided, the affected portion of the order may be canceled and refunded.

Clients are responsible for reviewing their order carefully before submitting payment, including:

• Length

• Number of bundles

• Color selection

• Processing option

• Closure selection

• Shipping information

• Contact information

• Any customization requests

We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by the client.

15. Website Content & Photography

Product photography and portfolio images are intended to accurately represent our work and products.

Color, lighting, styling, and presentation may vary between photographs and the final product.

All featured work and imagery representing Totteanna Shanklin's work is intended to showcase actual craftsmanship, color work, styling, and finished looks.

16. Disclaimer

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee that a particular color, style, or result will be identical to a reference image.

Results depend on the starting hair, selected service, hair condition, and other factors.

We reserve the right to refuse a service or modification when, in our professional judgment, proceeding could compromise the integrity of the hair or prevent a reasonable result.
